1. Who handles your data

CodeDev by Edward operates this website from Philippines and acts as the personal information controller for information collected directly through the site.

Privacy requests may be sent to privacy@myportfoliohub.online.

2. Information collected

When you send an inquiry, CodeDev may collect your name, company or organization, email address, preferred contact method and contact detail, inquiry type, budget range, timeframe, subject, message, submission time, and delivery status for the owner notification.

Public analytics are intentionally limited to event type, the public path or project involved, the referring domain when available, and event time. CodeDev does not intentionally store full referrer URLs, advertising identifiers, or visitor IP addresses in the analytics table.

3. Why the information is used

• Receive, review, and reply to project, collaboration, feedback, general, or privacy inquiries.
• Evaluate requested work and keep a private record of the conversation context.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and defend the website and private control room.
• Measure aggregate site and project interest without building advertising profiles.
• Meet legal obligations or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims when applicable.

The appropriate legal basis depends on the context—for example, responding to a request, taking steps toward a requested service, legitimate operational/security interests, consent when specifically required, or a legal obligation.

4. Service providers and disclosures

Inquiry data is stored in the website database. When owner notifications are enabled, a copy of the inquiry is sent through Resend to the configured destination mailbox, which may be hosted by an email provider such as Gmail. Hosting, database, email, and security providers may therefore process information only as necessary to provide their services.

CodeDev does not sell inquiry data or use it to create third-party advertising profiles. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, or work with professional advisers subject to appropriate duties.

5. Retention and deletion

Open inquiries are kept while they are still needed for the conversation or project evaluation. Once an inquiry is marked closed, the live record is retained for up to 730 days and then becomes eligible for permanent retention-policy deletion.

Privacy deletion can also be performed earlier after an appropriate verified request. Restricted backup copies may persist until the applicable backup rotation expires; they are retained for disaster recovery rather than ordinary use. Server-side analytics are retained for up to 180 days.

6. Your privacy rights

Under applicable law, including the Philippine Data Privacy Act where it applies, you may have rights to be informed, access your personal data, correct inaccurate information, object to certain processing, request erasure or blocking when warranted, obtain portable data where applicable, and lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

CodeDev may request reasonable information to verify identity before acting on a request, especially where disclosure or permanent deletion could affect another person’s data.

7. Security

Production operation is designed around HTTPS, CSRF protection, rate limiting, least-privilege admin roles, password hashing, TOTP multi-factor authentication, step-up verification for sensitive deletion, private admin caching controls, and bounded logging that avoids routine inquiry content. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Provider locations

Some infrastructure or email providers may process data in countries outside the Philippines. Their processing locations and safeguards depend on the provider and service configuration in use at the time.

9. Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated when CodeDev’s processing, providers, or legal obligations materially change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
